Through our partners at Dogpatch Paddle, you can watch live baseball from a kayak in McCovey Cove (a.k.a. the Splash Zone) — one of baseball’s most unique spots to catch the action.

From the Mission Creek boathouse, just a short walk from LUMA, you’ll settle into your kayak, paddle along Mission Creek to McCovey Cove (just outside Oracle Park), and enjoy the game as it’s projected live on the ballpark scoreboard, visible from the water. And if you’re lucky enough to witness a Splash Hit — a home run that lands directly in the Cove — you might just be close enough to make the catch of a lifetime!

Good to know:

• Kayaking sessions are 3 hours long. It takes 10-15 minutes to paddle from the launch to McCovey Cove, depending on your pace, wind, and tide.
• No kayaking experience necessary. An instructor will provide a quick onshore briefing and route guidance before you launch.
• Available for children age 7+ in a tandem kayak, 13+ in a single kayak, if accompanied by an adult.
